Simple Winter Wedding Decorations

White, silver, platinum and light blue are often thought of as the perfect color choices for a winter wedding theme.

Colors can be incorporated into every aspect of your wedding begining with your save-the-date cards, invitations, flowers, centerpieces, attendants and bride and grooms attire.

Adding a white fur wrap for the bride or fur trim to the bottom of your flower girl's dress is another great winter idea that will add a winter theme to your wedding attire.

Swarovski crystal, cubic zirconia or pearl jewelry on silver is the perfect wedding jewerly for a winter wedding theme. This is an inexpensive way to provide your bridesmaids with a beautiful gift and assure that all attendants will wear similar accessories.

Decorate a white basket for your flower girl to carry and trim the the rim with white fur. White flower petals are a must. For added sparkle use a silver spray glitter on the petals.

Add a silver or light blue ribbon to the flower girl's dress, hair or basket.

Welcome your guests to your reception hall by lining the path to your reception hall with wedding luminaries. Luminaries create a warm glow are easy to assemble and give a hint of the cozy ambiance that is to come.

Make your guests feel like they have entered a winter wonderland by lining the entrance with tree branches that are covered with twikling lights and crystals.

Winter wedding decorations can also incorporate icicle shaped crystals into tall centerpieces, floral arrangements with silver ribbons or placed in silver vases, twinkling strings of lights, snowflakes or stars.

Bring the snow inside by spraying your decorations with sparkle or fake snow. White and/or blue swags of fabric or tule will also help create a winter atmosphere.
